We are currently seeking an experienced systems engineer on behalf of our client, who wants to work with the management of industrial control systems in a technically advanced environment.

About the role & main responsibilities:

In this role, you will work with the management of production and development systems based on ABB 800xA and Siemens. The work includes system setup, upgrades, health checks, and troubleshooting in existing system environments.

You will also work on the development of standard solutions and participate in both smaller and larger projects. Project work includes time estimation, requirement specification, supplier contacts, and ensuring that standard solutions follow established instructions. The role also includes participation in FAT and SAT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in automation, systems engineering, or mechatronics, or equivalent experience, along with several years of experience in industrial automation and systems work.

• Several years of experience working with ABB 800xA and a good understanding of systems within 800xA and Siemens (including AC800M and Siemens S7).

• Experience with networks and communication between systems, such as OPC-UA, Profibus, and Profinet.

• Experience troubleshooting systems and applications, as well as working with technical facility documentation.

• Understanding of cybersecurity within industrial systems.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Employment type: Permanent position, consultancy assignment for 12 months with the ambition to transition directly to the client thereafter.
